The Sandberg with the Thompsons

If I correctly interpret the description of this photo, as supplied by Arthur Sandberg and forwarded by Harry Samuels, the middle-aged couple at the left of the photo are David Sandberg and his wife Bertha Thompson Sandberg. The two young boys are Arthur Sandberg and his brother Harvey. The elderly man is Max Thompson, Bertha’s father. The other people in the photo are not directly related, but step-family to Arthur: Barcia, Max’s second wife, and their three sons, Morris, Louis, and Julius. Arthur reports that his mother Bertha was pregnant with Jim when this photo was taken, which would date the photo around 1928.
